Welcome to the project website of the “System for Monitoring Law Enforcement of Informal Mining – SYMIN”. This project is funded by ESA-ESRIN through Out of Europe Timely Situation Awareness for Law Enforcement and Intelligence Application - AO/1-6627/11/I-LG. SYMIN Project successfully completed - July 31 - 2013

We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the SYMIN project. This follows completion of the project activities and presentation of the results at the final meeting with the European Space Agency (ESA), which financed the project as a component of the Value Added Element VAE.

Meet GAF at international mining events

In conjunction with PDAC (Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada) Annual Conference in Toronto - the German Mineral Resources Agency (DERA) organises at a workshop " Germany’s role in mineral resources markets". GAF gives a presention on "Geoinformation and Capacity Building for the Mining Industry and Mineral Governance" in the session on German Mining Equipment and Innovative Technologies for the Mining Sector.

GAF is present at the conference on „Mineral Resources for Development in Central Asia“ organised by GIZ (German Technical Aid) and BGR (German Raw Materials Agency).
